About Dr. Ali Al‑Qudsi
Dr. Ali Al‑Qudsi (Known to many patients as “Dr. Q”) is a board‑certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon committed to providing precise, thoughtful surgical care in a calm and respectful environment.
Dr. Q provides full‑scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, All‑on‑X, TMJ care, corrective jaw surgery, and evaluation of oral pathology. He is a board‑certified Diplomate of ABOMS and an AAOMS Fellow, with advanced anesthesia training for office‑based sedation.
He completed his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, a world‑renowned Level I trauma center, where he gained extensive experience across the full scope of the specialty, with particular emphasis on corrective jaw surgery and facial trauma.
Dr. Al‑Qudsi earned his Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, followed by his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His training includes comprehensive dentoalveolar surgery under IV sedation, with a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and clear communication.
He is a Board‑Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), and a Diplomate of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA), demonstrating advanced training in safe IV sedation and general anesthesia, with active hospital affiliations at Illinois Masonic Hospital (Advocate Health) and Hinsdale Hospital (AdventHealth).
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Q enjoys time with his wife, Raya, and their sons, Adam and Zaid. He maintains a strong interest in emerging technologies and is a lifelong Chicago Bears fan.
